Topics may include past laws that are no longer on the books and why, current laws and their enforcement, the potential need for new laws to be passed in the future, and how education on laws should be promoted in the turquoise industry.
Why should Turquoise Miners attend?
Turquoise mining laws around claims and distribution may be discussed. Miners will gain a better understanding of how turquoise is regulated before and after it has been mined.
Why should Turquoise Lapidaries attend?
Turquoise Lapidaries will find a discussion of disclosure laws around lapidary techniques of interest. Lapidaries will learn about how certain documentation may protect them from legal liability.
Why should Turquoise Scientists attend?
Scientists will gain more knowledge about legal terminology and definitions, which will help when explaining their research to the public.

Why should Turquoise End-Use Artists attend?
End use artists will learn what laws apply to the turquoise they set in their art, how to buy with protection and sell with limited liability. Artists will also learn how to best educate clients.
